Starting the electronic tests
Charged the 12V marine battery for testing (its been roughly 5 months since it was used)
Connected the initial power configurations between the EZ-B V4 main to the 12V relay.
Connected the Sabertooth 2X12 and the Arduino Mega to the 12V relay
Powered it up!
The EZ-B by default is a AP (which means it conflicted with my home networks wireless since it too used 192.168.1.1 as the wifi router default IP. I had to connect to the EZ-B and switch it to client mode. This made the EZ-B pretend it was like any other device in the house and connect to the wireless network. This was a struggle because it kept looping between "successfully connected to network" to failed to connect to network and back over and over.
I reset the EZ-B and then set it to connect to the other access point and success!
Next up will be running cables from the 2 foot motors to the sabertooth and setting the correct DIP switches so the sabertooth talks on baud 38,400 and on S1 only to the Arduino or EZ-B for testing foot drives manually.
