I decided to reboot the project and build a all new R2 unit with new parts and new design structure.
Key items:
- Frank Pirz eggcrate frame and body parts will be the highlight of all structural pieces. The dome will be Daren Murrer's hydro dome (Aluminum).
- Working with Louis Vazquez a software engineer to create a full AI for the R2 unit to function and interact with the surroundings. R2 will not only be aware of where it is and who is around him, but he will also be able to communicate with various devices around him such as AV equipment, outside wireless connections etc.
Due to the weather and temperatures outside, we will begin with re-construction of the electronics and internal parts of the Robot.
